About Me

Kaleigh (Annie) Trace is a (dis)abled, queer, feminist sex educator living and writing in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her work centres around promoting safe, shame-free and consensual sex for people of all abilities, ethnicities, races, orientations, and gender identities.

As a feminist sex educator with Venus Envy, she has travelled across the country speaking at conferences in Vancouver, Guelph, Ottawa and Halifax.

As a feminist writer, she has written pieces that appear in The Huffington Post, The Coast, CRIT, and The Halifax Media Co-op. Her zine Every Body’s Doing It, which talks about sex toys and (dis)ability, can be purchased at Venus Envy and Come As You Are. She is also writing a book (!!!), which will be available in the spring of 2014.

As a feminist killjoy she co-wrote and appeared in a semi-viral music video which won absolutely no critical acclaim, but fuck, look at how great it is!
